Scripting Chaos!

I've had a weekend of hyperfixation! I have created several items for the mod. I've added a bar for argent energy, upgraded the HUD to be widescreen with a resident evil style status bar on there too!


I've also created a quad damage powerup that works exactly as it does in Quake with the sound effect both when firing and when it ends. What else? I made some crystals that the perks spawn from when you shoot them. On top of that made an overshield perk that works like it does in HALO. Another perk called Moonwalker which allows fast movement and low gravity, and finally I've added a low health HUD element with a warning sound from Doom 2016 and Eternal too!


Busy busy busy. I've also completed another map. It's called M

ining Tunnels... Got to work this week, back at it next weekend. Stay tuned.


Oh and I managed to get in touch with the original creator, MelvinFlynt who showed me some amazing sprites he was working on and the files for his Doom X are not lost, he still has them and has been experimenting with ZSCRIPT. I'm hoping to collaborate with him and help him finish Doom X! Good times ahead!
